Paint protection film
Quality urethane film carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking and bubbling. In practice, garaged cars in Dallas look right well past that. Parked outside year round, expect the top coat to need a little more care after year seven.
We wrap edges around panel returns wherever the shape allows. Where a wrap is not possible, such as some bumper cutouts, the edge sits about 1 mm from the panel line and is only visible up close.
Gloss film is optically clear and often adds depth on darker colors. Matte film turns gloss paint into a satin finish, which some owners choose on purpose.
Yes, once the paint has fully cured, usually 30 to 60 days after the repair. We measure paint depth to check for resprays before quoting.
Ceramic coating
Film is a thick physical layer that stops rock chips. A coating is a thin, hard chemical layer that adds gloss, water beading and chemical resistance but does not stop chips. Many owners film the front and coat the whole car.
Keep it dry for 24 hours and wait 7 days for the first wash. Use a pH-neutral shampoo and avoid automatic brush car washes for the life of the coating.
It makes them far easier to remove, but hard water left to dry in the sun can still leave mineral spots. Dry the car after washing and avoid sprinkler overspray.

Film and coating installs hold the bay with a 20% deposit, refundable up to 72 hours before drop-off. Detailing services need no deposit.
We run a morning shuttle within 10 miles of the bay and offer pickup for larger installs in select areas.
All major cards, ACH and financing through a third-party partner for installs over $1,000 (sample terms).
Warranty and aftercare
Film is covered by the manufacturer for yellowing, cracking, bubbling and delamination. Our workmanship warranty covers lifting edges, stretch marks and installation defects. Impact damage is not covered, but Plus and Elite plans include panel re-films.
Pro and Signature coatings include annual inspections to keep the warranty active. They take about 45 minutes and include a coating topper.
Touchless washes are fine occasionally. Avoid brush and cloth tunnel washes, which scratch coatings and can lift film edges.
Manufacturer film warranties transfer with the vehicle. Our Elite plan workmanship warranty also transfers.
